THE BACKGROUND

Essence International is one of the best financial institutes in China providing a range of services, including securities and futures trading. To better tackle the increasingly competitive financial market in Hong Kong, Onion Creative was approached to redesign the EIF website in order to demonstrate the company's professional and advanced positioning, as well as to streamline the user experience for business growth.

THE CHALLENGE

The website contains various information, from EIF offerings to the latest market news. For better organizing a large amount of content, we focused on building an effective information architecture that allows users to find the information they want seamlessly. Since the website had not been revamped since 2011, a modern interface with easy to use navigation was required for a better user experience. 

THE APPROACH

With the use of white space and collapsible sections, we have managed not to lose an appealing and organized appearance while accommodating the heavy content. Market information is important and useful for target users, therefore stock quote, together with the information of listed companies and financial news are provided for creating an informative yet engaging website. 

THE RESULT

The application of crisp colors has injected a fresh differentiator for the brand, along with the compelling features and coordinated layout, both the brand image and the usability of the website have been taken to the next level. Now users can truly enjoy an all-rounded experience in the newly designed platform.
